Single-girder overhead crane

Single-girder overhead crane

Single-girder overhead cranes are typically used for lifting and moving heavy loads. These cranes offer custom design options based on the customer’s needs and the location of use. They are commonly utilized in rolling mills, the iron and steel industry, residential warehouses, the construction sector, shipyards, and ports.

Single-girder overhead cranes can be reinforced with lowered suspension systems and truss-connected crane rails, providing higher load capacities. Depending on the degree of axial expansion, either welded profile girders or box girders are used. These cranes are considered more cost-effective than double-girder bridges. However, their maximum load capacity does not exceed 10 tons.

They are also suitable for spaces with low ceilings and narrow frontal views. Single-girder cranes can be operated manually or via remote control.
